FAQs

Where are you based?

We are located in Ascot in a quite comfortable salon.

Free parking outside.

Is laser hair removal painful?

Skin type is a fundamental effecting factor in this treatment as due to the high level of pigment in the skin. Most people describe the sensation as an elastic band flicking the skin.

How does laser hair removal work?

Laser hair removal works by using concentrated light energy to target and destroy hair follicles. The laser emits a specific wavelength of light that is absorbed by the melanin in the hair.

Darker hair absorbes more light, this is why we can't treat blonde, white or red hair as there isn't any pigment.

Is laser hair removal permanent?

Yes.

Any hair follicle that is successfully destroyed, will no longer have the ability to grow hair, however everyone has dormant hair follicles, which can be stimulated at any stage in life.

This means new hair can grow, so it is recommended to have a top up session yearly, to keep any newly stimulated follicles at bay.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of laser hair removal sessions you need depends on several factors, including the treatment area, hair type, skin type, and individual hair growth cycles.

However, on average 8-12 sessions are needed spaced 4 -8 weeks apart
Results are noticeable after your first session.

How long do the results of Cryotherapy using the Cryopen last?

The results of Cryotherapy with the Cryopen are typically long-lasting, with treated skin imperfections often not returning.

However, new lesions may develop over time, requiring additional treatments as needed.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling also known as collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive treatment that uses fine needles to create Micro injuries in the skin.

This stimulates collagen and elastin production, helping rejuvenate and repair the skin from within.
