What is Tattoo Removal?

Tattoo removal is a safe, non-invasive treatment designed to fade or fully remove unwanted tattoos using advanced laser technology. At The Laserway, we use state-of-the-art laser systems that break down ink particles in the skin, which are then naturally eliminated by the body.

We use Q-switched and:YAG lasers , which emit short bursts of light that specifically target tattoo pigments without damaging the surrounding skin. Each session gradually fades the ink until the tattoo is significantly reduced or completely removed.

Treatment Details

Session Time: 15–60 minutes depending on size and complexity

Number of Sessions: Typically 6–12+ sessions

Interval Between Sessions: 6–8 weeks

Suitable For: Most skin types and tattoo colours (though some colours like green and blue may require more sessions)

What to Expect

Sensation: Comparable to snapping elastic bands against the skin. Numbing cream is available for comfort.

Downtime: Minimal. Redness, swelling, and slight blistering are common for a few days post-treatment.

Aftercare: Keep the area clean and dry, avoid sun exposure, and follow all aftercare advice provided.
